Description:
I installed mysql 5.0.24 and the GUI tools 5.0-r1a Beta. mysql and mysql Administrator are working. When I start mysql Workbench the splash windows appears and then the computer screen goes black. I have to reboot the computer.
I'm using a IBM T41 laptop with Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 (1.6 GHz Pentium M, 1GB RAM).
I tried the older version of mysql workbench, 1.0.6 Beta, as well with the same result.

How to repeat:
Start mysql workbench

I experienced same behavior. Upon starting MySQL Workbench, after splash screen alerting for alpha release, screen goes totally black. Nothing seems to work (neither "ALT+TAB" sequence) and I have to reboot.
