Description:
My PHP script sent a query to the MySQL server. The server hanged and I had to kill it by SIGKILL (using SIGTERM failed).

How to repeat:
It's probably hard to repeat. The same (or very similar) SQL query is used many times a day and no error occur.

Suggested fix:
Something about manipulation with memory (hard to guess specifically).

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.
