Thank you for the bu report. I was unable to repeat the behavior reported with version 1.1.18 on Ubuntu 5.10. Please try that version. Thanks in advance.

I think this problem is only for Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper. It happen every time with this distribution updated with lastest package. Thanks you for your help

i had the same problem when I installed mysql-query browser 1.1.17 through synaptic. So I tried to install the packages of version 1.1.18 and the result was worse yet. It appears a "segmentation fault" and the application don't run. Anybody knows some option to Mysql Query Browser?

Likewise - the binary distribution from mysql.org (mysql-query-browser-1.1.18-linux-i386.tar.gz) won't run: it seg faults and complains... ./mysql-query-browser: line 20: 6955 Segmentation fault $PRG-bin This is on Ubuntu Dapper 6.06, all packages up to date. Mike

I can confirm that this bug was valid for me on the version shipped with Ubuntu Dapper but is no longer a problem with the 1.2.3beta version from the website.
