Description:
I am using MySQL Administrator version 1.1.9 with

MySQL Version 5.1.11-beta via TCP/IP
MySQL Client version 5.0.11
on Port 3306
on Windows 2000 SP 4 release 5.00.2195.

After logging in to MySQL adnministrator with the user 'root' for the first time, when i click on the 'service control' tab or the 'Startup Variables' tab, an exception occurs which says :

Access violation at address 00981514 in module 'libmysqladmin.dll'. Read of address 00000010.

Once it is occured it does not occur again till you are logged in. once you log off the mysql administrator or reconnect. it appears again.

How to repeat:
Just login to the above stated version of mysql administrator on a Windows 2000 SP4 machine and click on the 'service control' tab or the 'Startup Variables' tab. To repeat click reconnect or close and start again.

Suggested fix:
no idea.
