Description:
The tag cloud should be sorted alphabetically and should be restricted to only display tags with a certain number of matches (to avoid cluttering). Also, when adding new tags to a snippet or project, the input form should suggest already existing tags (similar to how del.icio.us does it). Also, it should be made clear how multiple tags could be added at once (separated by comma, probably?)

How to repeat:
Take a look at the current tag cloud on forge

While we are on it: there doesn't seem to be a way to remove a tag from a project, e.g. to correct typos?

Not currently, that's correct. I just had to fix a typo in one of my tags as well - it would be nice to have a "manage tags" page, that would allow one to edit typos, remove or consolidate tags.

I fixed the sorting and reducing in SVN already, waiting for Jay to implement the rest.

Changset r44 implements a whole new tagging interface, including ability to input multiple (comma-delimited) tags at once, the ability to remove tags, a review process which handles similar tags and tries to consolidate/standardize entered tags, and I got rid of the underscores in the tag rewriting.
