Thank you for a problem report. Connector/PHP can be found at http://dev/.mysql.com/downloads/connector/php/. As for 5.1.x, please, check if version for 5.0.22 works with 5.1.11 and inform about the results.

> Connector/PHP can be found at http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/php/. I know, but could you add it to http://dev.mysql.com/? > As for 5.1.x, please, check if version for 5.0.22 works with 5.1.11 and inform about the results. It works with the included 5.0 DLL but fails with the 5.1.11 DLL.

So, we have 2 reasonable requests here: 1. Add Connector/PHP to the right column of http://dev.mysql.com/ page. 2. Provide a separate build of Connector/PHP for 5.1.x, as we have for 4.1.x and 5.0.x already.

I think there's also a 3, which is, find out why the DLL isn't backwards compatible anymore.

Are there any updates on this? I just upgraded to MySQL Server 5.1.15 and to PHP 5.2.1, but now phpMyAdmin can't connect anymore (wrong user/pass, access denied error). I'm using the normal PHP connector and the MySQL 5.0.27 DLL, as otherwise the PHP connector crashes.

URL does not exist and more and there is no need for any extra downloads. Please use PHP downloads from php.net or any of the operating system distributors or build PHP (which contains the MySQL driver) from source. The Manual has the details.
