Ihello,
I installed the rpm on my fedora core 5 64bits
$ uname -rop
2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 x86_64 GNU/Linux

When I start workbench, that fails and I have to kill it.

$ mysql-workbench

Exact same problem here (Fedora Core 5 x86_64 as well). I run an nvidia card with proprietary driver packaged by livna.org

Using same rpm mysql-workbench-1.06beta-1.i386.rpm on a freshly installed Fedora Core 5 I receive the same error.

I get the same errors on Fedora Core 5 as well. Here are some of the different errors I receive (each of these occurs multiple times upon each initialization, the most common being the error ending in "'parent_type' > 0' failed")

Confirming problem exists on Fresh install of Fedora Core 5 i386 (not 64 bit) from media and remains after fully patching to latest updates.

Possibly interesting: mysql-administratator 1.1.10a rpm from mysql.com failed with nearly identical errors, but the version from the fedora repository (http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/extras/5/i386/mysql-administrator-1.1.1...) runs without failure.

This should be fixed in the newer releases, please try the SuSE 10 package.
