Description:
The fonts in the GUI are incredibly small.

The menius are displayed correctly. However dialog boxes, labels and anything else are displayed with incredibly small fonts, almost unreadable.

The resolution on this computer is 1280*1024 (Ati Radeon 9000).

Can't use the workbench under these circumstances.

How to repeat:
Just run the application on a high resolution display.

????

I use a KVM swith - that is I am using the same display with two PC's.
happens on the one with a VIA GPU - not with a Geforce graphics board.

So I do not think it is the monitor!

Thank you for the bug report.

This problem occurs when a very first version of Workbench was installed which had a false configuration file.

To fix this, please open the file

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\MySQL\Common Options.xml

and change the line with the key="DefaultFontHeight" to 13.

<value type="string" key="DefaultFontHeight">13</value>

This should solve the text display problem.

Could you please take a look in the Mike's recommendation?
Thanks in advance.

The suggestion of changing DefaultFontHeight works for me.
I had to use 16 (changed from 8) to see it better.
