I am unable to duplicate this, unless the issue is the previously-reported problem of MySQL Control Center crashing if it cannot connect to the database (whether the password is bad, the server is down or the user does not have correct permissions). Please verify that you can connect to the database using another tool (the command-line "mysql" client for instance). Incidentally, Qt refers to the cross-platform Qt GUI toolkit used by MySQLCC, not QuickTime. Thank you
