Description:
After adding a password to the root user, MySQLCC crashes on opening with the following message:
mysqlcc.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x39ee1141" referenced memory at "0x74093d09". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

You are almost certainly experiencing a known and previously reported issue with MySQLCC 0.9.3 in which connection failures cause MySQLCC to crash.  You can edit or remove the configuration for the server connection in your C:\Documents and Settings\your_profile_name\.mysqlcc\connections directory.

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has already been fixed
in the latest released version of that product, which you can download at 
http://www.mysql.com/downloads/
