The problem is that the current version of Administrator cannot perform remote configuration, so the information you get is always for a local server, even if you use a tunnel. In the current version, there is no way to fix this. Configuration of remote servers is planned for version 2.0 of Administrator, which will use the MySQL server's Instance Manager to perform configuration (as well as service start/stop and log viewing). Therefore, I'll mark this as Won't fix.
