Description:
In my german Access 2000 I enabled the Administer 'Read Design' permission for both the MSysObjects and MSysQueries tables as shown in Figure A.3 of the Manual. After reverse-engineering the MTK only shows the tables and not the views.

How to repeat:
- Set only 'Read Design' permission to the system objects in Access, as shown in the Manual.
- Start the MTK.
- After reverse-enginieering there are  no views shown in the MTK.

Suggested fix:
If you additionaly set the 'Read Data' permission, the views are shown after reverse-enginieering.

In the documentation just below the screenshot you are instructed to check the Administer permission, which would have given full access. I have updated the screenshot to show the Administer box checked to further emphasize this.
