Description:
After unpacking and trying to run workbench, some windows are shown and they are immediately disappeared, and only message "The GRT environment for the Workbench could not be initialized. Please verify your installation" is shown.
Tried different debian based systems.

How to repeat:
unpack and execute bin/mysql-workbench

Suggested fix:

I was unable to repeat this issue on Fedora Core 4 and Suse Linux 10.

I can confirm this on Debian GNU/Linux testing/unstable with nvidia graphics drivers (seems worth mentioning as it's an OpenGL app).

It starts, some windows flash and disppear and then it just sits there... The prompt is not coming back, Ctrl-C obviously stops the program in whatever it is doing.

Bug is still present in Mysql GUI Tools 5.0-r9 at FC 6.
The problem appears on non english systems.
