Description:
if i paste a qurey copied from another editor to a blank query browser sql editor
and try to execute it gives a message. (You are trying to execute a empty string. please type SQL command into the SQL edit field and execute again).

but i can see the pasted query in the sql edit field. so i moved the cusor back and forward inside the sql edit field after that i tried to execute then it worked.

How to repeat:
copy a sql command typed in another editor like notepad.
then open Query Browser. and select the database
paste the copied query into the sql edit field.
click the execute button.

you will see the message

Suggested fix:
once the sql command is pasted to empty sql edit field it should indentify that the field is not empty.

Sorry, but I was not able to repeat the problem you described in XP with QB 1.1.20. Neither with notepad, not with any other editor. It just works. Please, check regional settings, service packs etc.
