What exact versions of MySQL server and MyODBC do you use? What exact SELECT crashes for you?
[22 Feb 2006 11:28] hady ginanjar
I use mysql server v 5.0. And myodbc v.5. Please help me.

If there was a crash of MySQL server, there should be something in its error log. Please, upload your server error log to this report using the File tab.

OK, so it myodbc*.dll that access improper address. Can you connect to your server with mysql command line client and execute the same SELECT? Have you tried to "Test" DSN when you created it? Is your MyODBC version 5.0.0-alpha?
[25 Feb 2006 3:03] hady ginanjar
Yes, I can, but still error when SELECT statement. When i create DSN and test connection is OK. Right i use MyODBC version 5.0.0-alpha. how to solve this problem.
[25 Feb 2006 21:18] Valeriy Kravchuk
Verified just as described on XP. I was also able to Test connection to 5.0.18-nt, but SELECT leads (any) ODBC application to crash. 3.51.12 works great for me.
[27 Feb 2006 5:04] hady ginanjar
I already test in XP, still crash when i select statement. in 3.51.12 version can't connect to mysql 5.0, can it ? so how to connect and run well in mysql 5.0 ?

thanks,
hady
