Description:
Oracle allows multiple names for an object (Synonyms). Synonyms are currently not detected and resolved by MTK.

Synonym defintions must be translated manually into their resolved object names.

How to repeat:
Create a public synonym for an object in Oracle, try to migrate it. Watch the object being not available in the migration.

Suggested fix:
Detect synonyms, and resolve them into their base object names. Alternatively, use FEDERATED to create a link to them.

Verified as described.

Many thanks for writing a bug report. We are on the way to implement full functionality of MySQL Migration Tool into MySQL Workbench. We won't add this feature request anymore.
