Description:
what I would give just to have a windows help file that I could have open while learning to use MySQL. When the product is installed, there is no help whatsoever, except from the command line.

MySQL doesn't appear to cater to those new to dbms systems.

How to repeat:
Start the product.

Suggested fix:
MySQL should instal a windows help file with the program so you can learn about the software etc.

There should be a manual.chm file in the Docs directory
under the MySQL installation directory. For example, if
you download MySQL 5.0.18 (the most recent 5.0 release),
manual.chm should be here:

C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\Docs

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem. Unfortunately
you are not using a current version of the product your reported a
problem with -- the problem might already be fixed. Please download
a new version from http://www.mysql.com/downloads/

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest versions,
please change the version on this bug report to the version you
tested and change the status back to "Open". Again, thank you for
your continued support of MySQL.
