Thank you for a problem report. On what version of MySQL Administrator the backup was created? Can you upload the smallest backup file that demonstrates this behaviour?

I am having the exact same problem, tested with backup files created with 1.1.7 and 1.1.8.

Same here, I could not manage to restore even 1 file : I even tried with "world.sql"... "An internal error occurred." So believe me, this is the last time I install the "next" version of the Administrator or the Query Browser : nearly 1 out of 2 turns to be totally unusable, when a big part of the software (even if it was working well in the last version) doesn't work anymore. Enough of this. Why don't you tell people when it's beta software ?

Verified with your backup file, just as described, on XP. "Analization failed"... Worked OK in 1.1.7. It is a (new) bug, really.

Duplicate of bug #17333, almost surely.
