Description:
After input a record with wide characters(e.g. GBK) by mysql-query-browser-1.1.17-win,  I create a application program use delphi7 by odbc,  I only can see '???', in query-browser- everything is ok.

How to repeat:
mysql-query-browser input a record include chinese
use delphi7's sql-explorer open the table

Thank you for a problem report. Please, execute the SHOW VARIABLES LIKE 'char%' in QB and in your Delphi7 application, and compare the results. Are they different?
