I was unable to repeat this issue with Connector 3.51.12 and current server release 5.0.18 with Excel 2003. i attached a picture showing Excel importing data.

Trevor, these are two completely different problems serious being the later one (import to Excel). For that part, this is duplicate of Bug#16653 (Bug#24580 contains some info too). See the discussion there please.

Hi Trevor, please try this again with the newest version of MyODBC (3.51.19) and a newer MySQL Server version. Let us now, if the error is still occur. Regards, Susanne
