Description:
i see a bit of mess in 15.15.8 : "Implementing the index_read() Function"
"The following values are allowed for find_flag:"
One flag is mentioned 2 times HA_READ_KEY_OR_NEXT and one is missing, HA_READ_PREFIX. Supposedly they are interchanged

One more issue. The word "function" is being used in the whole chapter while the correct term is "method".

Thank you for the bug report. Verified just as described. The manual page http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/custom-engine-index-read.html should be updated.

Fixed in refman-5.1 (too many changes to document)
Also fixed order, function->method changes and some costmetic issues.
