Description:
I had already reported the bug but I did not get any appropriate answer(might be because I was unable to tell how the bug can be repeated). But this time I can tell you how the bug can be repeated.I try to create a mysql dsn;in the connection window, after giving valid parameters for server(default),user and password,I click on Database combo-box to select a database but, suddenly the window stops responding without giving any error message.Secondly, even if dont click on Database combo-box and directly test the dsn,it shows "Success;connection was made!" but, after clicking OK button again the window stops responding. This bug aslo occoured in myodbc v5.0-alpha release.

How to repeat:
Just install Zone Alarm's latest Internet Security Suite(zaSuiteSetup_61_737_000_en) and you will repeat the same problem I am Having.

IMP. NOTE: THIS BUG DOES NOT OCCOUR WITH ANY OF THE OTHER ODBC DRIVER(EG. MICROSOFT SQL SERVER 2000 SP4 ODBC DRIVER) EVEN AFTER INSTALLING THE ABOVE STATED INTERNET SECURITY PACKAGE.

I had tested creating DSN with similar products: Norton and McAfee
without to repeat the behavior reported, sorry but I think the issue
is your environment and if you report it to the ZoneAlarm support
why their product is affecting our driver then maybe they can point the
actual reason for and help you and us to fix the issue.
