Version:1.1 OS:W2000P
Assigned to: CPU Architecture:Any

In the Query Browser the following is displayed in the status bar:
Access violation at address 005B0A4C im nodule 'MySQLQueryBrowser.exe'. Read of address 00000000.
Because of the flickering of the message, I assume it is in a loop, although its cpu is neglegible.

None of the menuitems or buttons is available (clickable but no action). A query can be typed in and executed, though. The windows Schemata/Bookmarks and Syntax/Function/Params are available and seem to be fully functional.
Trying to close the browser results in closing of the result window but the application stays open. Attempting to execute anything now closes the window.

How to repeat:
start the Query Browser

Thank you for a problem report. Please, try to repeat with the latest version, 1.1.19 (available at http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/query-browser/1.1.html), and inform about the results.

Downloaded and installed version 1.1.19, as requested.
Access violation is gone and all functionality seems to be available.
But ... the menubar items highlight with darkblue when selected, and on some menus not all or none (scripts menu) of the the menuitems are visible, unless highlighted/selected. It is workable, but not very friendly.
Severity lowered to S2.

I close this bug report, as the access violation problem is solved in 1.1.19. As for problems with menu item colors etc., they are known already. Please, search the bughs database. So, no need to report about them once more here.
