How to repeat:
MYSQL_TYPE_BIT is listed in mysql_com.h from 5.0.18 binary distribution, it doesn't present inside available types at:
  http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/c-api-prepared-statement-datatypes.html

Suggested fix:
Add MYSQL_BIT_TYPE
