Description:
If I compile the Table Editor code shipped with the MySql.Data connector, the code compiles, but fails to connect to the mysql server (I entered localhost for the server address). If I recompile against ByteFX.Data (shipped with mono), I can connect without a problem.

I've tried using 127.0.0.1 as the address for the server but without any success

How to repeat:
Compile the table editor example shipped with the .NET connector against Mono, run and enter localhost for the name of the server.

Thank you for a problem report. What version of MySQL server are you connecting to? Can you connect to it with mysql command line client?
