Description:
If I attempt to select the Startup Variables tab when there is no MySQL Service installed, I get the error message "Access violation at address 005BD4F9 in module 'MySQLAdministrator.exe'. Read of address 0000000C."

This occurs when running MySQL Administrator both before MySQL has ever been installed as a service, or when the service was installed but was later uninstalled. As soon as the service is reinstalled, the problem goes away.

Server version is 5.1.4-nt-max.

Does not appear to be the same issue as Bug #13887.

How to repeat:
See description.

Suggested fix:
Startup Variables tab should be greyed out/inaccessible in the service isn't installed.

In addition, it might be helpful for the user to be informed that the option isn't available because there's no service installed.

Thank you for a problem report. Please, try to repeat with a newer version, 1.1.7, now available at http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/administrator/1.1.html. Inform about the results.
