Description:
pgp plug-in 7.03 does nice compression before encrypting such that zipping attachments before including them in a mail is not worth the trouble.

Does AES_ENCRYPT only do padding, or does it also add some smarts re compression?

Especially since it also works with BLOBs - in the case no compression in included by default in AES_*CRYPT, how would would this work together with the new COMPRESS() function?

I am unassigning this from myself, because as a
feature request I can do nothing about it.
