Description:
When creating a new issue, the Initial Staus is blank even if it's set in the admin as "New Issue" for that project. This was working in 1.6.1.

How to repeat:
First upgrade from 1.6.1 to 1.7.0. All projects have stayed the same. Create Issue for ProjectX (example). Please note: ProjectX was created in version 1.6.1. Go to the details page of the issue you just created. Notice the status is blank. Remember the ID# for this new issue. Go to List Issues. Issue does not appear if Hide Closed Issues is checked. Now go to Administration. Click on that ProjectX. For Initial Staus for New Issue, we have "New Issue."

Suggested fix:
I thought I had the fix by going into Admin clicking on a project and selecting the New Issue again for Intial Status and clicking Update Project, however it only worked once and then it failed after that again.

Hi,

I have found and fixed this problem and it will be in our next release. For the time being, you can download and updated file and place in in the path-to-eventum/include/class.issue.php file. The updated file is here: http://eventum.mysql.org/patches/class.issue.phps
