Description:
The column privileges setting cann't take effect in the linux administrator.
run mysql-administrator -> user administrator -> schema object privileges -> allocate column privileges -> then check the validity of column privileges
The column privileges setting is no use in linux administrator.

Thank you for a problem report. Please, try in the newer version, 1.1.5 for Linux, and inform about the results.

Test it again with linux mysql-administrator V1.1.5 and  mysql server V5.0.16
The bug also exists.

I was able to reproduce this under FC4 using 1.1.6

Please detail the error that you get. I was able to normally assign column privileges to users in 1.1.5, 1.1.6 and latest devel. version.
