Description:
This new version has a bug that causes the color of the text in menu selection to stay the same, not inverted. This makes the menu selection very difficult to read.

How to repeat:
1. run MySQL Administrator 1.1.6
2. log in to any database
3. Move mouse cursor to any menu/selection

Suggested fix:
roll back this change

well. it's black on dark blue . It seems to be readable on my monitor but I believe it could be unreadable on other computers.
Verified.

Are you refering to selections inside the panes? What I see is that If I go to Catalogs, to the schema tables tab and select a table, on my screen, the selection is light gray and the table name and other information turns white.

I'm seeing the same problem with white on light grey for any of the list item
displays and it's unreadable. This has been a problem since at least 1.1.4 and really needs to be fixed.

This problem is very serious. I looked almost at every bug report of MySql Administrator and MySql Querybrowser. If you look around you see the problem at both places and there is still no fix.

MySql Administrator
MySql Querybrowser

They both have the same problem and it was not only in the last version. Why does nobody do something?

Please do something about it fast.

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has been committed to our
source repository of that product and will be incorporated into the
next release.

If necessary, you can access the source repository and build the latest
available version, including the bugfix, yourself. More information
about accessing the source trees is available at

Is there a standard release date. Every month or something?
[2 Feb 2006 10:35] Mike Lischke
There is no regular release schedule for bug fix releases. We do intermediate releases, whenever a signficant number of bugs have been fixed. I think we can do a new release within the next few days. I cannot be more specific because there are other things pending.
