Description:
The documentation says

"If connect_timeout > 0 and it took longer then connect_timeout seconds ..."

The word "then" should be "than". A common incorrect usage amongst internet users.

How to repeat:
Go to the following URI, refer to issue description.

http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/mysql_real_connect.html

Suggested fix:
Change the word "then" to "than".
