Description:
When backup a very large database, backup utility in MySQL Admin is going to fail. It seems to be that if database is smaller than 4GB, backup works fine. But when backup content is more than 4GB, it's going to fail.

How to repeat:
Backup a large data base file, MySQL Admin is going to fail. (Note, the database that I have has a lots of rows since each row should have less than 100 bytes)

Thank you for a problem report. 4.1.x is a version of MySQL server you are trying to backup, I believe. But what exact version of MySQL Administrator is used?

The version of MySQL Administrator that I am using is 1.1.0 rc

What's status with this issue ?

Please, try to download and use the latest version, 1.1.5 (http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/administrator/1.1.html). I am not sure it will help (on 32-bit XP), but we have to verify the problem on the latest version in any case.

Please, try to repeat with a newer versions of MySQL Administrator (1.1.7 on Windows and/or 1.1.6 on Linux). They are available at http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/administrator/1.1.html. Inform about the results.
