Description:
The server-system-variables section of the manual has this to say about have_crypt:

* have_crypt
   Whether the crypt() system call is available to the server. If not, the CRYPT() function cannot be used.

That should read  "If not, the ENCRYPT() function cannot be used".

How to repeat:
Go to http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/server-system-variables.html and search for CRYPT().

Suggested fix:
No patch, since documentation source is not available.

documentation. The updated documentation will appear on our website
shortly, and will be included in the next release of the relevant
product(s).
