Thank you for a problem report. Sorry, but I was not able to repeat the problem with v. 1.1.17 using the steps you described on plain Windows XP. Can you provide the additional information on how to repeat? What version of MySQL server are you working with?

I'm using MySQL Server 5.0.15 I rechecked the Dialog and found reason for the behaviour. When I clicked on Apply the message in the status bar said "List index out of bounds (-1)". So I looked for all list boxes and found that the language selection was empty. When I set it to english everything was fine. I made a new install of MySQL Server and Tools and for some reason the language was not set.

Hi! I was unable to reproduce this bug using 5.0.15 and the latest version of QB. Can you please tell me exactly how to reproduce this bug ? Thanks

i'm running windows xp (german) installed mysql administrator 1.1.5 installed mysql query browser 1.1.17 installed mysql 5.0.15 server when i wanted to change something in the general options category of the query browser i wasn't able to save it because the language field was empty. which is the part i didn't realise at first. once i set the language to english everything was fine.

Thank you for the solution. I was having the same issue and after changing the language from system default to English, it worked... Thanks, Ray
