Description:
MysqlCC .93 used to work on 4.1 if you turned on "use old passwords". Today, with 5.0, it is completely broken or 5.0 is broken with respect to using old passwords. The only workaround is to use NULL passwords, not a very good security move.

Your web page which is advertised as pointing to the CC in fact points to the Adm.

your http://www.mysql.com/products/mysqlcc/ page says:
Downloads, Licensing, and Support
You can download the latest version of MySQLCC from our world-wide network of mirror sites.

Which leads to:
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/administrator/index.html
The administrator, no the control center!

Where do I get the control center which works with 5.0 or where can I get something like it???

Thank you!

How to repeat:
Try to login to mysql 5 through the control center using passwords.

Suggested fix:
Actually support the mysqlcc which you allege to support.

Thank you for your interest in the MySQL graphical administration tools.
We recommend that you use our MySQL Administrator and MySQL Query
Browser. The MySQLGUI and MySQL Command Center legacy products are
deprecated, and we are no longer maintaining those projects.
