The page http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/optimizing-subqueries.html says:
There is a chapter titled ¿How MySQL Transforms Subqueries¿ in the MySQL
Internals Manual. You can obtain this document by downloading the MySQL
source package and looking for a file named internals.texi in the Docs

This is not true. I downloaded 5.0 tarball source from
http://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/MySQL-5.0/mysql-5.0.15.tar.gz/from/pick ,
and in Docs/ directory I only see:

drwxrwxrwx 503/100 0 2005-10-17 05:36:40 mysql-5.0.15/Docsa/
drwxrwxrwx 503/100 0 2005-10-17 05:36:40 mysql-5.0.15/Docs/Support/

How to repeat:

Suggested fix:
Change the above quoted passage to link to http://dev.mysql.com/docs/internals/

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has been addressed in the
documentation. The updated documentation will appear on our website
shortly, and will be included in the next release of the relevant

Additional info:

Thanks, I've changed the passage to refer to the general
documentation page (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/), where
the Internals manual is available in several formats.

There were also some obsolete references to the Docs
directory in the APIs chapter. I've updated those as well.
