Description:
I would like to be able to insert/move new columns before or after existing columns while in "Edit Table" mode, by both drag-drop and "Insert Column", "Move Up" & "Move Down" context-menu options. Currently you only have the option to create a new column at the very end, and the position cannot be changed using Query Browser after that.

This functionality already exists in Database Designer 4, which both the MySQL Query Browser and MySQL Administrator both appear to be based on. :-)

The ability to insert a new column before or after an existing column in Edit Table mode existed in the MySQLcc, which both the Query Browser and Administrator were meant to replace! It seems really strange that this function would be omitted by these improved tools...now, I find myself having to go back and use MySQLcc again when I want to be able to quickly and easily insert a new column somewhere in relation to an existing column.

How to repeat:
- Right click on existing column while in Edit Mode, or try to drag-drop an existing column to a new position relative to another existing column.

- Right-click only allows for deletion of existing columns

- Drag-drop functionality for column movement not available at all.

Suggested fix:
Insert/move new columns before or after existing columns while in "Edit Table" mode, by both drag-drop, "Move Up" & "Move Down" context-menu options (similar to DBD4's method of operation), or by being able to directly insert a new column before or after an existing one by selecting/highlighting an existing column and then either clicking an "Insert Column" menu button and/or using a right-click context-menu option (similar to MySQLcc's method of operation).

Yes, this would be very useful indeed. In older versions of administrator, it was possible to select a column in the table description and drag it up and down, it displayed a little line. But it didn't actually DO anything.

Please fix this issue; I combed the net for possible keyboard shortcuts and finally ended up here...

1. YES i would really like this feature too.
2. Also another feature i miss from cc is the ability to make CREATE statments for multiple tables. In cc you could select multiple tables, or all of them, and do "show create".
3. Also another feature in cc was the ability to run lots of sql statements, one after the other, a bit like a procedure but in the query window. so for example i could put in 20 or so create statments and click execute and all the tables would be created. now i have to click on each statement and click execute. It needs an "execute all" button.
(sorry for going off topic here.)
