I tested MySQL Administrator 1.1.0 on Mac OSX 10.4.2 and was able to connect without a crash to the latest 5.0(.11), latest 4.1(.14) and 4.1.10a.

uhm...maybe its not usefull, but i discovered that if u dont use a connection name u can loggin and connect to localhost ... in fact i first erased all of them, then loggin without a connection name, but with a user name, afterthat i created a connecion
