Description:
from
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/index-merge-union.html

>when the table WHERE clause was converted to several range conditions on >different keys combined with OR, and each condition is one of the following:
> * In this form, where the index has exactly N parts (that is, all index parts are covered):
> key_part1=const1 AND key_part2=const2 ... AND key_partN=constN

From the description above, I would expect the last line to contain "OR"s ? Also the remaining examples on the Page are using OR

unrelated: the option to set category to "documentation" is also missing, might be intend,
but would be useful.

How to repeat:
-

No, items in the list are to be combined with OR, the description does not
appliy to the items itself:

"... when the table WHERE clause was converted to several range conditions on different keys combined with OR, and each condition is one of the following: ..."

There are several Documentation sub-items, i just changed the Category to "MySQL Server - Documentation" just fine ...

The sentence preceding the list says that the conditions
are combined with OR, where "_each condition_" is one
of the following" -- which does not imply that the OR has
anything to do with what is in the condition itself.
