When ever I add a new tab the query disappears in the existing tab. If the existing tab has been split only the query for the active tab is cleared. How to repeat: Open a query tab. Enter a query. Add a new tab. Return to the first tab, the query is gone. Open a query tab. Enter a query. Split the result pane horz or vert. enter a query. Switch between the two, the queries are retained. Note which pane is the active result set. Add a new tab. Return to the first tab, the query is gone for the active result set. Switch between the two result sets, the result set that was not active when the new tab was created still retaines its query.

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead. Thank you for your interest in MySQL. Additional info: Duplicate of #13521
