Description:
Hello,
We are trying to install this and are getting the coredump as discussed in the following thread: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql/94657

The last post from MySQL says that this would be fixed in 3.23.47 but it apparantly isn't.

Is there a way to resolve this problem that does not require us to do a source code install? We do not have the ability to install all of the gcc pieces required to build MySQL on this HP machine.

Thanks,
Robert Allen

I tried 3.24.58 on a fully patched version of 10.X. Could you make sure you try the latest version and that you have all the patches for HP 10.X
