Description:
If one uses a /etc/my.cnf with skip-bdb, skip-isam and other such options, running make test on the MySQL source code fails repeatedly with errors in many tests.

How to repeat:
1. Copy my-small.cnf configuration file from the distribution to /etc/my.cnf
2. Add the following options to /etc/my.cnf
skip-innodb
skip-isam
skip-ndbcluster
skip-networking

3. Run make test

Suggested fix:
Make make test independent of /etc/my.cnf

Can not reproduce on mysql-4.1.13 and mysql-5.0.10-beta on a non-virtualized machine. mysqld is clearly started with the *undocumented* --no-defaults option.

The tests fail because the test suite is broken, see:

http://lists.mysql.com/bugs/15623

and not because of /etc/my.cnf

Sorry for misreporting. I was not after that iPod Nano promotion.
