Description:
The canvas only displays giberish when you open a Workbench file saved using version 1.0.1a

How to repeat:
Open any file saved using Workbench 1.0.1a and open it using version 1.0.2a

The object tree, however, has managed to load the table structure correctly.

Copying the following lines taken from a 1.0.2a save file into the offending 1.0.1a save file makes the canvas load properly:

<value type="string" key="owner" option="ref">{1EE87A30-17B4-4FF5-B46A-1E9239C5C026}</value>
<value type="list" content-type="dict" content-struct-name="db.workbench.Relationship" key="relationships"/>

In regard to copying the lines of code as per my previous post, this loads th table diagrams but not the relationship lines.

Hmm my previous fix only worked once. And the problem opening saved files doesn't appear to be limited to version1.0.1a files either, it does the same to 1.0.2a saved files.

Thanks for your bug report.  This also happens in 1.0.3
