Description:
When I launched MySQL Control Center after a major system crash and required restart it appeared to do nothing. MySQL Control Center would appear in the task bar, but the application window was nowhere to be found. I reinstalled twice and restarted multiple times to no avail. Finally I browsed into the .mysqlcc folder after an installation and located the config file, mysqlcc.cfg. I opened the file to explore, somehow the window had been moved to 40, 32000 for the X and the Y. I deleted the file and reinstalled and MySQL Control Center appeared fine.

How to repeat:
I had MySQL Control Center minimized in the background and I caused a major crash in Microsoft Visual Studio. I was forced to reboot the system without exiting MySQL Control Center safely. When I attempted to launch MySQL Control Center after the reboot, the application appeared in the task bar, but I was unable to do anything as there was no application window.

Suggested fix:
Check the values in the configuration file against the screen dimensions of the active display, if the value is 32000 for Y on a 1600 x 1200 screen reposition the window so that the user has some ability to locate it. Also suggest removing or providing the option to remove the configuration file during uninstall of MySQL Control Center.
