Description:
Hi,

Creating a user and then editing after initial save gives an error which says data could not be saved.
Happens with 1.0.22 and version 1.1.0.

Geert

How to repeat:
- Connect to MySQL 4.1, using MySQL Administrator 1.0.22 (or 1.1)
- Create a new user and save (works)
- Change her password and save again

Suggested fix:
No fix, but workaround is to restart MySQL Administrator.

Verified using the MacOSX version of MySQL Administrator (both 1.0 and 1.1). Reported initially using the Linux version.

Not enough information was provided for us to be able
to handle this bug. Please re-read the instructions at
http://bugs.mysql.com/how-to-report.php

If you can provide more information, feel free to add it
to this bug and change the status back to 'Open'.

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.

Additional info:

I cannot repro this bug with MySQL Server 4.1.14 and MySQL Administrator 1.2 on SuSE 9.3. No error message is shown and (password) changes are properly applied.

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has already been fixed
in the latest released version of that product, which you can download at
http://www.mysql.com/downloads/

Additional info:

It works fine in 1.1. In 1.1 there was another issue, which has been fixed and will be available in next release of 1.1 (should be 1.1.3).
