Description:
I have Eventum 1.3.1 installed on a Windows 2000 SP 2 with Apache Web Server.

Eventum is an excellent application to manage help desk issues; but I'm having problems with php.exe process.

When any Web Browser client hit the webserver, the eventum server starts an instance of php.exe program and create a new process identified as php.exe. Then the server has many php.exe as users are working, in a couple of minutes php.exes disappears when the php script is parsed. This php.exe process consumes 100%. Some times, the Servers stays using 100% with php.exe, this is a problem because other users can't access the application.

I have searched any documentation in your site; but I can't find the information.

Best Regards,

Juan Carlos Monsalve S.

How to repeat:
loggin in the application, displaying the home page of eventum, listing closed events, etc.

With any hit to the web application, the server consumes 100% of CPU with php.exe process.

Suggested fix:
I think that the problem is related to php or Apache tunning because I ran some big query on my mySql database and ran very fast.

I don't know how to conufigure php.exe to use a multithreaded mode or something like that, because actually, php.exe starts one process for each web session.
