Description:
Hi!

I passed the last days trying to make a connexion to a MySQL Database on a remote Web server. I created an ODBC Data Source on my computer, create a new empty database in Access, et used the "Get External Data - Link Tables" function to make the link.

Access crashes, and ask me if I want to send the "Report" to Microsoft. There are no error messages. It's just restarting...

Can somebody help me on this? I'm going crasy!

Thanks!!

Stephane

How to repeat:
It's hard to replicate the same thing... just do the same thing I wrote in the Description! ;-)

Hi

I have the same problem.
However, I have managed to resolve it by changing the version of my msjet40.dll to a lower version. (4.0.8618.0).
You maybe using the latest Microsoft jet driver.

Hope I have help.
