Description:
While trying to add a linked table in MsAccess 2000 to MySQL 5.0.10 through Connector/ODBC 5 alpha I get the following error:

[Microsoft][Driver Manager ODBC]Funzione SQLServerConnectAttr del driver non riuscita. (#0) [ (#0) [ (#0)

(My PC is in italian, should be something like "driver function SQLServerConnectAttr failed"

The odbc datasource has compressed protocol enabled

I was able to reproduce the bug on Windows 2003 and MS Access 2003.

I used Connector v5 with mySQL 5 engine, but when i use ADO cursor in ASP page to connect at my DB mySQL, when i call OPEN method, the cursor return OPEN EXCEPTION !!!

c/odbc v5 is known to have problems with MS Access (and other applications) - it is an Alpha. We appreciate the bug report but at this time the best course of action is to use c/odbc v3 and try c/odbc v5 again when a new release is made.
