Description:
On MySQL workbench 8.0.47 pressing ctrl+enter runs the selected query, whereas ctrl+shift+enter runs all queries.

On the new Workbench 26.7, this appears to have been reversed. So pressing ctrl+enter runs all the queries, whereas ctrl+shift+enter runs just the selected query.

This is confusing, and potentially dangerous if people are switching from one to the other.

How to repeat:
Open a SQL Editor in Workbench 8.0.47.

add two queries:
select 100;
select 200;

put the cursor over the first one, press ctrl+enter. Now repeat by pressing ctrl+shift+enter.

Now repeat in workbench 26.7

Suggested fix:
Change workbench 26.7 so ctrl+enter works the same as the old version.
