Description:
I was looking through the share/mysql directory after running "make install"
on Linux today, and I noticed that a bunch of .plist files are installed:

share/mysql:
total 596
-rw-r--r-- 1 junkyard devel 497 Jul 19 11:05 Description.plist
-rw-r--r-- 1 junkyard devel 1091 Jul 19 11:05 Info.plist
-rw-r--r-- 1 junkyard devel 3238 Jul 19 11:05 MySQL-shared-compat.spec
-rw-r--r-- 1 junkyard devel 465 Jul 19 11:05 StartupParameters.plist
drwxr-xr-x 2 junkyard devel 4096 Jul 19 11:04 charsets
drwxr-xr-x 2 junkyard devel 4096 Jul 19 11:04 czech
drwxr-xr-x 2 junkyard devel 4096 Jul 19 11:04 danish
drwxr-xr-x 2 junkyard devel 4096 Jul 19 11:04 dutch

[etc.]

Aren't those Mac OS X-only files?

This is true for 4.0, 4.1, 5.0, and 5.1 distributions installed after
compiling from the current BK trees. I noticed this on Linux,
although possibly it occurs on other non-Mac OS X systems.

How to repeat:
See above.

I noticed also with 4.1.14 on Suse 9.3 Linux.
